Positions in markets

In nuclear I cover the front- and backend markets, with more than 20 years’ experience in new build, uranium trading, decommissioning and waste management.

In renewables I’ve been engaged in the corporate spin-off and re-positioning of the prime European supplier of high performance solar cells and modules and of a German regional biomass energy and pellet producer.

Working in global markets for German, U.S and UK companies I have a thorough understanding of low carbon energy policies, key market issues and players, and a widespread network in industry.

About Rudy Koenig

I have over 30 years’ international experience in the renewables and nuclear industries at suppliers, service providers, operators and owner/investors. My executive assignments have been in Germany and abroad, at global players, SMEs, and project companies. Trained with a graduate business degree, my work in a technical environment has covered the complete value chain: engineering, manufacturing, EPC, commodities, new build, power sales, decommissioning and waste management. My roles as CEO, CFO, etc. have included responsibilities for business development and program management, finance and controlling, strategy and planning, M&A, legal, procurement, human resources, IT.
